Ad says it is a Caribbean 17', I'm not so sure it is one.

 

Haha, me neither! She's registered as a a carribbean and looks alot like 1, I just can't find out for sure...

 

What were your thoughts on her?

 

Impossible to say, but it is a boat with a few years behind it, and is longer than 17 ' I'd say, on a tandem trailer. Could it be a boat that had a sterndrive and has been converted to outboard ? Sure seems that way. The dark colouration below the chine makes working out what it is, that much harder.

 

I'd say that's the case, being that the pod was mounted on her. Shapewise, she is very similar to a reef runner, although cabin set up is different. Apparently 5.5 metres plus pod, so a touch bigger. i have tried a lot of avenues, nothing coming up for me.

 

Looks to be 25+ years old, by the style of it, I'd hasten slowly. It isn't what you'd call a deep vee either, maybe around 18 degrees. Could be a boat from WA perhaps.
