| 24hacker, Do I get any rep points for my wildly accurate guess? I grew up in Miami, FL and about a 1/2 mile away on Old Dixie Highway (U.S. 1) [before it was politically corrected to "Federal Highway"] there was a boat place called Mohawk Marine and they sold Crosbys among others. They were also a Merc dealer. I believe that boat was displayed there in the mid 60's. If you could determine the color of the motors or know when the 100 hps first came out you could date it more accurately. |

| The Crosby boats were the boat to have back in the 60's if you wanted performance. 'Back in the day', Allen Sheppard - astronaut and another astronaut, bought a Crosby and raced it. They came to Northern Indiana and tested the boat. There is a fellow near here that restores Crosby and Hydrodyne boats to near original condition. |
