Fishing platform vs. cruising boat

Looking for some info. I've had an 36 ft packet craft express cruiser in the past. My wife was a bit uncomfortable in 6 ft seas but other than that she loves boating. I've been looking at a used Rampage 45 ft sportfish and a 42 ft sabreline express cruise. 2 different hull styles. Which boat will handle the 6 footers better? The rampage is longer and a foot and half more beam but will it rock more? The sabreline has a deep vee hull, and may cut through the waves better. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
