first '74 mastercraft

    hello everyone, I just bought an oldie but a goodie that just needs tlc.the first thing to tackle is no drive shaft luckily my husband is a machinist.my problem is how does the drive shaft seal through the hull?:confused:

    With a stuffing box or packing gland.
