Favorite Production Powerboat

What's your favorite individual production powerboat 40' LOA or less with price below $250,000 (not motorsailor, not PWC, just a powerboat that is production, NOT custom)? Name it, detail it and state why you find it to be your favorite.

Har...har....har. I limited it to $250k (US dollars) to see what people like that they (as a regular person) could eventually/possibly afford.

If your talking new I can't list what I like because of the price limit. I of course will be buying used as usual.

As woodboat suggests, a 250K limit rules out an awful lot of boats.
Ok - I have one on the drawing boards that (hopefully) might get built one day - for rather less than USD 250K.
40ft long, lightweight cored FRP construction. Single D6 volvo dp sterndrive. 25 knot max. sleeps 4 +2. I'd give you a name but I'd be giving away a trade secret

I would be happy with a Pursuit 3070 Offshore . Decent build, serious design, and outboard power add up to a winner for me.

This one makes the range http://www.yachtworld.com/core/listi..._id=53949&url= Nice forward raked windshield I will be stuck inside the chesapeake bay for the next ten years so built to go offshore doesn't matter. Comfort however does matter. Reliable Vdrives, 30 Mph WOT and all the comforts of home.

I'd like a nice outboard powered RHIB (rigid hull inflatable boat) about 32' LOA. Maybe a full keel full displacement trawler such as an American Tug (americantug.com)

Custom boats are a no-no. Production powerboats...yes. $250k limit is fair enough, you can even get a Chris-Craft for well under $250k.
