| European rudder bearing manufacturers A simple question really, but googling doesn't help much. Or I suck at it, which I'm not excluding :/ Apart from Jeffa, what other european rudder bearing & pintle manufacturers are there? For M/Y of 20-40m approximately (just so we skip VETUS and merchant shipping) |

| Jefa rudder systems supplies the OEM market. You mentioned them http://www.jefa.com/rudder.htm Tides marine UK http://www.tidesmarine.com/ Teignbridge Marine http://www.teignbridge.co.uk/ Also the Italian Solimar http://www.solimar.biz/2007/company.php?LANG=UK On bigger boats the rudder bearing are many times custom built. A rudder bearing is a simple construction. We recently used vesconite bearing stock for a 25 meter.. http://www.vesconite.com/industry/marine/marine.htm |
