| Sounds like one of the old half cabin jobs, no, use flexi mounts in them, Polyflex make good small mounts for 250hp type engines. Use their coupling too.

| Flexible mounts need a flexible shaft to dance a round with the engine. In other words the stuffing box needs to be rubber mounted. Its surprising how many boats don't accommodate for this and experience serious shaft wear. |
