Delta Classic

I have just bought a delta classic speedboat that requires a little work. This is the first boat I have owned so i need some help desperately. The engine is a ford 1600 marine engine, unsure how old it is. It didnt come with a battery so I need to get one but dont know which battery I need. I could also do with a engine diagram and a wiring diagram if anyone can help me out please. If there is a delta website can someone please point me in the right direction has I cant find one, but the guy I bought it off said there was one. Can anyone please help?

Cheers.......John

John,

A Google search reveals nothing and I guess you have tried as well. Ask the seller for the website. Are there any builder name plates visible under the coamings or dash? Haynes should have books on the Ford 1600, X-flow or others. http://www.haynes.co.uk/webapp/wcs/s...category=10003

Good luck.
