Dash Design _ electronic Flaws

My 2001 180GL Four Winns dash board keeps going dead - ProG shows up - then End........... No dash board controls showing... When dash shows up 1 in 10 times starting .... it rolls through depth, temp, etc but the mode and set button doesn't work...........

Has anyone experienced this... I put in a new starter switch checked all the wires..........is there a chip or do I need a new dashboard....
Is this a four winns problem?

try to get a basic voltage tester and begin tracing back from the fuse panel, it will probably be in the connection to the fuse panel like the ground or possibly in your main electrical harness plug in the engine compartment, the meter should tell. About the only way to test electrical components is with a tester though... good luck

Well, I recently found out that this was a flaw in the dash itself. FourWinns no longer carries or repairs this dashboard. It must be sent to RAPAIR to have it gone over. Cost is $250 and they update it. Great idea.... RAPAIR warranties for 1 year. I appreciate those who responded. My dealer has recently found two dashboards in his warehouse...hopefully one of them will work. BTW - RAPAIR has a 2-3 day turnaround. Their TECH was very good in responding to my email questions.... recommend them highly!
