correct combinations

hi im working on correct combinations for hulls vs hp and rpm, to the required gear box to suit a certain drive assembly

for instance the criteria is
a
planning hull
displacemnet hull
semi displacment hull, from 8M through to 14M

with a selection of engine power eg,

60 hp 3000rpm
70 hp 3200rpm
90 hp 3200rpm
120hp 2500 rpm etc

then the type of drive eg which one ones would be suited to each hull and hull length, and why

shaft drive
stern drive
jet drive
surface drive
hydralic drive

then what gear box ratio i will apply

1x1
1.5x1
2x1
2.5x1
3x1
3.5x1

so could anyone give me a link to a site that explains how to apply combinations correctly, or any advice would be apreciated
