Computer / wing controlled stabilization system
I designed a computer controlled stabilization system for powerboats / hydroplanes. Like fly-by-wire applied in modern aircraft. In my opinion ultra-fast watercraft should be stabilized aerodynamically, not hydrodynamically (ever seen a hydroplane flipover? Duck & cover...). The system utilises a mechatronic control system actuating the (aerodynamic) wings and flaps. The result is a significant improvement in safety, and cornering speed. The APBA technical board meeting in Monaco liked it, so did the Bilba Cadey team in Legnano Italy.
I did not have the capital to continue development, and it seems that the technology has not been picked up till today.
Has anyone an idea about present developments?
