I was wondering if anyone could provide a rough estimate on the cost to build a Haven 26, backyard and by a professional.

Without a set of "bid plans" and rough BOM, any price would be a complete shot in the dark. A raw hull with cabin sides, but requiring finishing and fit out would start in the 20k range. This assumes a reputable builder, using marine grade plywood, exterior hull sheathings, non-corrosive fasteners, etc. You might find a back yard builder who could do the raw hull for less, but you'd have to wonder about how things were being done, the general quality and procedures they were employing in the project.
