Cheap sources for engines
I am currently looking for a new Volvo Penta GXi5.7 engine. I have been looking around the net, and found the Bobtail version of the engine for about $8,000. If anyone knows of cheaper sources for this type of engine, please post a link!

I have a pair of diesel 240hp Volvo penta's for 22k with transmissions the engines have 31 and 33 hours on them the transmissions are not yet ordered so you could pick one or buy bobtail.

Did you ever find an engine? With little work a PCM will fit your application. Check boatwrench.net
