can't find build tag

I just purchased what is said to be a 1969 sidewinder and i would like to find the build tag to verify that if anyone can tell me where to look it would be appreciated

www.fiberglassics.com is the correct address. You'll find a history on the make, but little else on this site.

HIN numbering didn't come to be, until the early 70's and craft built before can be quite difficult to firmly identify. Sometimes build plates can be found in very out of the way locations on the hull, usually inside attached, stamped or carved into a major structural member.
