Can it be done? (55FT aluminum under 200k euro)

    For cheap labour and good experience you still have the Vietnamese .
    I know shipyards who built alloy since 1995 .
    And the last cote I got for one bare hull was 120000 euros (ex vat)for one boat, hard chine 20,80 m length and around 12000 kg of alloy in the finished hull

    And we still be able to built this boat for 450000 euros for customers

    have a look at the LRC58 it is about £350000.00

    In the end it all depends on the design!

    In the end it is a matter of the design. Its complexity and volume (displacement)
