Boat info?

Hi all!

I have a HIN of FHL06326J788, I have looked it up and even paid $20 to a 'boat-fax' site that didn't really tell me much.

I've gotten this from the USCG site:

TRITON BOATS LLC - OOB

MIC: FHL Status: Inactive Company: TRITON BOATS LLC - OOB Company Official: HOPPER, RANDY Parent Company: FISHING HOLDINGS LLC Parent MIC:
Address: PO BOX 179 City: FLIPPIN State: AR Zip: 72634-017 Country:
Phone: 3874532222 Fax:
In Business: 8/9/2010 Out of Business: 8/18/2010 Date Modified: 8/18/2010 Type: Outboards, Open Motorboats, Jon Boats

Addtional Address: DELAWARE IS STATE OF INCORPORATION

Hard to believe this company was only in business for 9 days????

The "boat-fax" only references it as manufactured by "Fiberglass Specialties" out of Riveria Beach, FL and a status of 'plant closed'. If anyone has any information on this I would love to hear it, I've included a photo, and have seen the boat in person, but there is no name/make/model on it anywhere.

Current owner states this is a "32ft. Custom Cary" ??? Although I have not been able to find anything on this either.

Thanks for any help provided.

It's not uncommon to see companies open and close in a very short time. Picture this scenario, you buy a boat mold, start up a company to build some boats, pop several out of the mold in a week or so, then fold up the company. Why? Well it's simple, so you don't have to honor a warranty or answer questions about the boats. All the trades see this type of less than scrupulous activity. A home builder might setup as the general contractor, to build all the homes in a new development, then close down after the last house is built, so he "doesn't exist" when warranty issues come up a few years later.

Google: ‘‘ Fiberglass Specialties Riviera Beach, FL ’’ - Note: Riviera is misspelled in the above post#1 quote as: ‘‘Riveria’’ - maybe this gives less results ?
Gives for me:
- Fiberglass Specialties
- Boat Repair in Riviera Beach, Florida
- Address: 1748 Australian Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33404, USA
- Phone: +1 561-841-8010

Also found - ---> - Fiberglass Specialties Marine Since 1970 - ---> - Photos - ---> - Contact

Does the old photo look a bit like the boat of interest, at least the rail style . . . ? ?

So I have a snowballs chance in hell in finding a lot of information out about this.......

Thanks for your input.

That boat is way older than 2010, in ny opinion, likely last century or very close to it.

Yes, the Hull #, indicates it's a 1988.
