Advise

Im looking to buy my first boat. A 19footer, w merc 3.0, does this engine have enough power to enjoy skiing, tubing? I would have 3-7 people in boat as well. need info

For 7 people I think the 3L will struggle. Here is a good thread on another site covering small bowriders -

Welcome to our nightmare, friend. Sooooo... yer gonna buy a boat? Please, above all else, BUY ALL THE ENGINE YOU CAN AFFORD. You are not required to use it wide open throttle (WOT) all the time, but when ya need it, nothing else will do.
Find someone you can trust about boats, and get some "what do you look for " input. Then look em over and use your best judgement. Remember!!! the lake does not like you or dislike you.... it does not care. If you are to bring everyone home safely, it's your responsibility. Good Luck, we'll see ya on the water. Mike
