Additional Fuel Capacity - Wellcraft 2800

I have a 1990 Wellcraft 2800 Coastal and am interested in adding more fuel capacity.

Has anyone out there done this?

There are 2 built-in fish wells that I am thinking of removing and placing the tanks in there (below deck, next to the current tank).

I am very mechanically inclined, but am looking for anyone who has done similar and can share experiences.

Thanks and happy boating!
