80 Mutiny 3.0 140 Mercruiser

Was Givin This Boat But Starter Locked Up On It What Is So Different About The Marine Starter And An Automotive Starter? Besides The Cost

Marine starters are spark proof. The shielding makes them more expensive. It is DANGEROUS and ILLEGAL to use electrical automotive equipment on a boat. The extra price is worth your life. As a marine surveyor investigating marine accidents, I have seen too much of that.
