5.7vortec smallblok350

hi new here

can you tell how to tell if the con rods on this engine is to the front?.
i had a shop to fit new pistons on but they maybe put on back to front .
so b4 i put them back im thinking its best to ask.

huh? As long as the rods are the right way on the crank, and the pistons have a 4 valve relief, can't see you having a problem.

Does the engine spin over easy? The rods that sit on the same journal, have to be flat back to back.

The locking tabs on the bearings go towards the outside. The pistons should have the notch facing forward.
