| 30ft ricky scarborough in a quarter following sea need help if anyone knows about boats nose catching in a quarter following sea how to prevent, can a skeg welded on the rudder help or maybe lift straights down the bottom. Put a bigger rudder on, it helped alot but still catchs more than I want. open for suggestions thanks steve  |

| "bow steering?" This could be what is called "bow steering." It is more common on "lobster boat" type hulls with very fine entries. Keep the bow up, tabs all the way up, is there a hook in the hull, maybe some prop work? Steve |
