305-350 swap

I am currently running a 1981 volvo penta AQ200D with a 280B leg. The old 305 Cu In. engine is getting tired and I am considering replacing the block with a 350 marine longblock. Will all the parts swap over? Who is a good remanufacturer?
Thanks,
Sean

It's the same size block. The propeller will need 2" more pitch

Thanks. I do have one with 2" more. I just received a 350 longblock today. The 305 is out of my boat and apart, and I am going over the condition of the old parts. Most everything is OK, but I do want to change to a 4bbl manifold and carb. I am looking at the edelbrock performer manifold, but am confused on the carb. Rochester? Holley? or Edelbrock? Looking at about 600-650 CFM. Thanks for any advise or words of caution.

Make sure you either get a marine carburetor or you modify properly. I like Q-Jets because they are great at idle and can be adjusted easily. However, all the rest are good too. I suppose each person has a favorite.

I found what i wanted from http://www.i-5automotive.com/page5.html . They can ship it to Eureka Montana for me to pick up. Only 45 miles away. They had me send digital pictures of my linkage so they send the correct set up.
Thanks for your knowledge and help.

Heads up

MTNRAT- be extra cautious if buying from that company. I recently purchased a q- jet there. It had major leaks where the linkage goes through the body, and, the floats were not set up correctly. When I called to return it...I was told "sorry, no refunds". My big problem was that I couldn't wait for an exchange, as I run a charter service and needed to be running asap. I found one locally. Now I have this lemon, and don't know what to do with it. Mark

Thanks for the words of warning. I hope it works. If not I have a very good friend who has run his own shop for 30 years. He said he would get it working right if I have any problems.
