| 300 HP Yamaha OB Hi, I'm looking for installation drawings concerning the 300 hp OB Yamaha. The boat is an high speed defence boat with 4 x 300 hp. This is an updated version of the NAJA ASD sold to Gulf country in 40 units (120 OB engines). If I will not receive available informations concerning this engine, I will change manufacturer!! Help please.... Thanks  |

| I'm always mystified as to why it's so easy to get hold of proper installation / CAD drawings for inboard engines - particularly diesels - and all but impossible to get the same for outboards. I share your frustration!  The same can be said for outboard performance / consumption data. Sadly, I can be of little help. The only success I've ever had has been to approach my local dealer who was able supply hardcopy only.

| Concerning diesel engines, I had never problems with CAD drawings installation. For the OB engines I have the consumptions and power vs power measured during sea trials of the NAJA ASD. This boat was equipped with 4 x 300 hp Johnson not more in production.... |
