1970 barracuda flat bottom hull? When I was in High school, my dad bought a Barracuda boat. It had a 100hp Mercury on it that was really fast. I don't know if the boat was made by Barracuda boats, or if the name Barracuda was a model from a boat manufacturer. If anyone out there has some information on this boat, I would be grateful. Thank you! P.S. It looked somewhat similar to a Tahiti, but lower in profile.

Shot in the dark, but there was a Barracuda Boats 909-208-1527 or Barracuda Boats 928-855-7728 (don't know if either number is still valid.) Do you have a picture? That would help.

No picture unfortunately. The boat looked like a flat bottom inboard drag boat, but was made for an outboard. Ours had a 100hp Merc on it.

There was a nice 1969 inboard barracuda drag boat for sale last year: http://www.performanceboats.com/boat...cuda-flat.html http://dragboats.com/gallery/picture...=527&Submit=Go Maybe you can get in touch with him and see if he has more info on the company.
