| I have the same motor with a serial number of 89090 and its supposed to be 1995. Mine has the restrictor out of the carburettor and its now a 3.5hp. Superb motor. Apparently one has crossed the Atlantic non stop. The Americans know it as a Nissan or a Mercury.

| I love tohatsu motors, most people don't know about theme and how great they are, and right now both of my boats have tohatsu 140hp on them, and I even have a spare in the shed. Which has been sitting there for the past 4 years. |
