| Power Tilt/Trim any OMC engineers out there? Is it possible to use a power T/T unit from a 1977 Johnson 140 (Inside the transom mounts) with a 1975 Johnson 115 hp (designed to use Outside the transom mounts power T/T)? The motor mounts are incompatible and I am wondering if it is possible to swap the steering pivot tube, on which the motor mounts are attached?  |
