outboard starter Hi all, I searched around (not too much) and have found no outboard motor under 15HP with an electric starter. Does anyone know of any model out there with an electric start? Can a conventional outboard with hand crank be modified to have a starter? Has anybody done it? Thank you in advance

Atleast Honda and Mercury have 10hp models with electric start.

Local differences perhaps? Under specifications manual/electric starting is listed, also for 8hp model. Here the local importer lists the following models with electric start: BF10 SHSU/LHSU, SRU/LRU and BF 8 SHSU/LHSU models. H for tiller, R for remote control.
