Stick to that, my NA recommended around 4 per ton for a passagemaker (motor). I went for 7 cos my experience fortunately outperformes his by several times. sorry, sounds like showing up, was not my intention

Back to (bit outdated) thread: by no means I would recommend a outboard for a boat that size!
