Outboard model?

Hi all,

I'm new to owning a boat and just got a used 19'6" aquasport with a 115 yamaha on it. Now my issue is that the trim motor just went out for the motor and I am trying to figure out what model my motor is. I went to several websites and located the way to read the serial #s, but they are much different than my own. I was told my motor is a 1996 Yamaha, but I'm not even sure on that. Could you please assist me in figuring out what model my motor is so that I may purchase the proper trim motor.

It's a(n) 115ETLD... here is the parts breakdown for the power trim mechanism along with the ordering info. 60 second google search.

thanks a bunch. I kept looking under 1996, since thats what I was told it was. I should've researched it the way you did.

 

Happy to help. If it is the armature though...you might have to have it re-wired rather than replace it... it isn't available on that site... perhaps others too.
