| Mercury 9.8 powerpack The Power pack is not sending spark to the spark plugs on my 1978 merc 110 9.8. I don't know what the problem is so I would like to know how to test the: power pack stator coils trigger Thanks. |

| Your best start is to get a manual. It's got diagrams,photos and specifications. Do you have the proper tester and tools?

| PROBLEM SOLVED!!!! I disconnected the - wire from the coil, pulled the rope a few times, reconnected the wire and got SPARK!! |

| Bill Gates may have had in the design of the doggoned thing. Every once in awhile you get the Blank Screen Dath, so you just power off/on. |
