MERC 4Stroke 115HP

I am in the process of purchasing a 18' Sea Ray bowrider. Sea Ray is offering a 115 4Stroke and for an upgrade a 2Stroke 135. I am opting for the 4 Stroke and am right now leery of the 115 having enough "get out of the hole" power with a skier/boarder along with a couple of adults / kids in the boat. Sea Ray says thier hull design and engine design cooperation with Mercury is solid. I am going to test drive the boat in about a week, wondering if anyone has any experience with this engine and it's power ?

Any opinions welcome and appreciated
