| I think (think) there are a hallswitch in the distibutor, havent disassembled it to much before I know how to do. There are three cables from distibutor... two signals and one ground??? Somebody before me has modified it with an ignition unit and coil from Volvo 240. (Cheapy parts in sweden) We have run in full speed with it but often it just runs 15 secounds and then slows down like if it drowns in petrol... I dont know if its possible if the ignition are too early... with a stroboscope it was at 45 deg... and I think its too much... |

| It should be about 8-10 degrees at idle. Also, make sure it advances when the engine accelerates.

| Ok tnx! On the cover there is a mark at 4 deg i think.. When I use the strobe at idle it is 7-8 degs and when I accelerate it moves to 45... I asked a supplier... 45 he said, it will melt! Not over 24! I have ordered an Seloc-servicemanual but I havent got it yet...and the boys want to go skiing before winter... ![]() Its hard to be daddy! |
