how do i get a flywheel off

i need to change my points and condenser for a 5hp motor but i dont know how to get the flywheel off could use your help thanks its a pull rope type motor

Take off the engine cover, probably fuel tank if you have one, then the recoils rope pull. You should then see the flywheel, normally there are all kinds of pullers for these but some times if your luccky you can GENTLY prise them off byTWO screw drivers at 180 degrees. If this dont work 'sometimes' there are threaded holes that go through the flywheel all the way to the base. Find a bolt long enough to go through and to the base, Make sure you are not screwing the bolt onto the contact breaker base or anything else delicate, this sould push it off.This is avery very easy way to damage lots of parts ,be VERY carefull.
