well thanks to all you guys for your help i got her going again it was the coils took them out cleaned em and regaped and she runs pretty good just smokes a little not sure why yet and i have to start her in forward or reverse gear because when i start in neutral and go to turn the knob so i can shift she shuts off not sure of that either but with your guys help i believe we can get her right once again seeing how shes a 1954 scott atwater and sounds great thank you all and cant wait to get more help
