| CD box blown? is there a way i can check if my CD box is blown? comming out of it there were 2 wires burnt to a crisp, so brittle they fell apart when i touched them i herd these box's were expensive to replace so im hope to god thats not it!!! its 69 johnson outboat hydo electric V115 |

| I would say that is a coil . but by looking at the wires, I see tape, look at the splices and see if they are corroded, and clean off that buss barr. you might get off cheap. I really dont know what the blue wire is or the 2 black ( resistors)maybe, but do note the buss barr with some corosion,,,,were all the screws are at , get some PBgast oil at the parts store ,..good stuff. take them off one at a time and clean them , and tell me what happens,,,good luck if none of this helps go to the local lawn mower shop or marina if you have, and get a mechanics opinion, shouldent charge nothing for that! |
