94 Ocean Pro flywheel magnets

My 94 225 Ocean Pro flywheel has 2 cracked magnets and one loose. I see where I can get replacement magnet kits and re-glue. Should I replace all magents or can I get away with regluing the loose one and replacing the cracked ones? Is there a problem with bead blasting the surface to clean it?

94 Ocean Pro flywheel magnets.

Don't skimp - replace them. Fly wheels are critically balanced - rather than attempting to beadblast it clean have it very lightly skimmed. If you have a heavy enough lathe you could do this yourself. Retaining the balance is essential. But first - try and find out what caused the magnets to crack in the first place...you don't want to replace them only to have them cracked again.

sqdqo, just reglue the loose one or replace it as for the broken ones i can't tell you how may i've seen in the last 16 years of working on outboards (guessing a lot) brp or before that omc would not make an epoxy kit if they thought it was going to be trouble. personally i've done around a dozen and never had any trouble with them.
