Sea Sport 27'

I happened across the Sea Sport 27 Pilot and it seams to me to be remotely O-1 like, except it is a little too wide to trailer internationally, has a stern drive and is heavier than O-1. They have accommodated many of the features that we are trying to incorporate in O-1, I especially like the Sea Sport 27' Pilot with its raised pilothouse. It provides great visibility.

Here is a link to the manufacturer’s web site. http://www.seasportboats.com/27pilot.html

It is interesting to compare the 27' Seamaster (flattop) http://www.seasportboats.com/27seamaster.html and the 27' Navigator (with optional flybridge) http://www.seasportboats.com/27navigator.html and the 27' Pilothouse. The Navigator seams to have 3 separate helms.

There are also a couple Sea Master 27' for sale on www.yachtworld.com. There is a 2002 is the $90K, which appears to be the base price. There is a 2001 for $129K which is fully equipped and low hours.

Cheers;
Mike Schooley

Proof, if it was needed, that your concept of the small raised-pilothouse cruiser is a viable one. I haven't spent much time looking at it, so I can't coment on how well I think it would work though....
