old option one updated

For those who were around in the beginning of the Option One project and anyone else who cares to look.

Here is an enlarged version of the original Bluejacket 24 that I designed for those wanting more room for longer cruises with extra berths for kids or guests. The photo is of one built locally and ready for some final internal finishing. Unfortunately the builder became sensitized to epoxy in the later stages of this work and I am no longer able to have his excellent skills available.

I expect this boat to deliver performance very much like the earlier 24 and 27 foot models. Unlike the 27, it is not a longer version of the 24 but is all new. Power is an Evinrude Etec 90hp. Still unmistakably a Bluejacket though.
