Well, I'm still on holiday but I saw this lighthouse today. Maybe someone will recognise it, if not I will add a clue or two,

I'm going to hazard a guess it's not Ardnamurchan Point then!

 

Palm trees have me searching southern US.
my first thought was Florida.
