Just found the alleged pic in a newspaper.
Basically: the shipyard is located some 5 miles from the sea, the only available road goes thorugh the old city, yet they have a production line of 120 ft yachts.
Last year a yacht of this size created a hole in the road during the transport to the sea and remained stuck there till the evening.

Miles? Since when they talk like that in Europe?
Nautical or land miles? French or english? Or austrian miles?

Hmmmm, you're right. But who cares - all miles are capitalist miles anyways, right? ;) :D

The question is, do boats travel at nautical miles when they are on land?
If so there would be a problem when you are towing a boat on a trailer. If there is a 50 MPH speed limit your car and boat would be travelling at different speeds.

That one's got my brain tied up in knots.

That's an astute observation. It could explain many things, like this one, for example:

    A Dead Man...

    Hello...

That is like a dead man crawling thru a desert towards fresh water - always a way to get things done - there is always a crowd that walks away and sniggers - and there is aways a few men left - who stand up to the challenge...
