    BHOFM Senior Member

    I put this here because it's not a serious project!:p :p :p

    Updated daily or monthly or what ever, when I get something
    done!

    Day one:

    Form done and set up.
    I don't think the wind will blow
    it over.

    Day two:

    Mold frames done and chines cut.
    Needs a little bracing.

    Looks like it could be a nice little project - just remember to takethe blocks out before you 'float your boat' or it may become a submarine!

    Thanks SW,

    I had plans to build a 16' scow, in a nice air conditioned shop!
    With some help! Well, first day, no one showed up, "we" were
    busy! Second day, Well, "There's a car show this weekend"!

    So I am building a 12" row sail, sort of dory, in the driveway
    at home, the shop is nearly 10 miles away!

    I have enough material to build half a dozen of these!

    I can get it in my shop at home once it is off the form, I will
    make a cradle for it on wheels so I can work around it this
    winter!

    Well...............at least your driveway IS airconditioned, sort of! You're getting there - ad most importantly you'e started, nothing like what you intended but your going and tat has got to be good!

    Day 3&4:

    Made the pattern for the stem, laminated a block to cut it
    from!

    Trimmed a bush that was in my way!

    Leveled and braced the mold frames!

    Started the lay out on the keel!

    Transom frame done with temp skin, fitted temporary on
    the jig, it will be planked later, and I mean "planked"!

    Also got all the long pieces cut and planed, battens, sheers,
    chines and enough to do all the stiffeners!

    Frame is done!

    Sanding planing and checking is next!

    Boat talk,, Fair the frame!

    ARRRRRRRRR Matie! Shiver me timbers!

    I really like the gentle lines of this little boat!
