Politness and the edit button

I have on ocassion gotten carried away and posted obnoxious remarks. The edit button is a great way of correcting offensive remarks. Sometimes other posters have pointed out that a more appropiate approach would be more beneficial. Sometimes reading our responses after a day or two makes us more impartial.

I suffer from poor spelling, the edit feature gives me a second chance to get it right.

The edit button is good. What would be really swell is one of those "Men In Black" memory erasers. Sam

Yes I agree, also very useful for correcting spelling, grammar and syntax errors. For guys to whom English is not their native language, sometimes only later we see that what we have written sounds a little bit funny.

And Vega, tis handy for someof the guys whose language IS English too! pity they don't use it.

Having sed (sic) that, overuse of the edit button can cancel out the whole reason for the piece anyway; after all there are times when the "gut" reaction is the only way to go (even when it does get you into trouble with the the holier than thou squad) And Vega mate much as I like you, prepare to be disssssapointed in the ball kicking activity soon! Us Pirates and vagabonds are a lucky shower (don't deserve to win it but as I said....) After all we won our first match and we didn't even score the winning goal

Oh, how I'd love to be able to cheer on my own team. Unfortunately our coaches sent all our good players back to their home countries. So here I am cheering for whoever's hooligans are the least destructive this week. Go FIFA!

Least destructive?

Doesn't that make them the the underachievers in hooliganism?
