As agreed Us is in a bit of a pickle yet they still travel the world (Bill oops my trousers fell down Clinton) giving other countries advice that are no where near in the same shit.

(who would listen to him anyway) how the hell he got thse girls out of North korea ,--well done, but what did it cost? we will never know.

He got them out quick enough!!!!

I would have thought that America would feel just a shade embarrassed by the massive debt that it owes and perhaps not be so global until it gets its own back yard cleaned up , but no Obama is there every morning with a comment or two on global affairs . Has he nothing else to do? we all know that he has.

You surprised me Frosty!

All you have spouted is crap on this thread up until this point. I was dreading reading your latest post, but you surprised me with a real gem. Thank you.

You are a grumpy old bastard most of the time, but you usually have something useful or funny to say on most subjects, so it has been sad to watch you self-destruct on this thread.

If you are PUI (Posting Under the Influence) this time, keep it up. If you were PUI before, please lay off the juice.

Lance.

My Congressman is in town now. But he's only letting some people in to meet with him. I think I'm on the 'outs' with him, as I am kinda outspoken.

That printing more money thing is deep and wide. I've wondered what the consequences of just plain 'belt tightening' might be?

Over the years they've added so many 'handouts' to the list of "Infrastructure" (necessities) that belt tightening might starve a lot of people.

The burning question is this:
How can we make people responsible for themselves! Get them to stay in school, drop drugs and alcahol, stay out of prison, keep thier jobs, get some more education.....
If we let those people starve we might not have to print so much money!

Just write him and have a thousand angry constituents deliver their "ultimatum" via a signed petition... "If you vote for the bill (name it) You will loose our vote and gain lots who will campaign against you".... Call in the TV and even if he hides, the publicity will force the message... The scariest message will be delivered by a very quiet, well behaved polite mob... NO ranting, maybe a few tears and all dressed in sombre funeral black with just one sombre placard declaring that all are in mourning for "The demise of public representative democracy in USA"....

I have to go back downtown tomorrow and I'll make a visit in person to see why my query hasnt been answered.
Today as I went by his office, the line was outside the door and down the walkway a bit.
That's too much for me. I'm too old to stand in the hot sun that long.
