Never tried anything in the counter department. Would be interesting to send 10mb pings back to sus computers, but then it sucks your upstream bandwidth so?... If I was a proper hacker I'd use some other proxy on the web to bomb them... but who's got the time to screw with these idiots, better off stone walling them.

Oh L Mas .... seems I nodded off again, must be groundhog day.

This is a be right sit tight market, average in on weakness IMO. I believe that some very desperate government sponsored market interventions are going on re the dollar and the nimble predators are playing the flip side of that on a very short term basis ---> result, aggressive chop. When it resolves, and its my firm belief that it will to the upside, it should move with some conviction. Keep in mind this is the "thin" summer markets in the US, typically a weak time for gold, this action is quite extraordinary signalling that the stronger season, August on, should be quite exciting.

Mas its a full on street fight in the US markets ATM, calling it short term is a mugs game, just buy your favourites stock when he is on the ropes and wager on the out come.... at least thats my approach.

Oh and yes, technically the USD is looking oversold and due to rally. This should pressure gold in the short term, so odds are a buy is comming up... however recently most rallies have been treated to lots of USD selling, don't be surprised if the rally is not long.

Cheers
MBz

hehe,,,your it
stealth mode,,is jus like it sounds,,, instead of "blocking" a connection, or someones ping,,, it bounces it around, till it peters out,,,if you block things,,,it means a ping bounces off your firewall, and comes back as blocked,,,instead of "not home" ,, and i dont care what kind of firewall ya run,, if a good hacker knows your there,,, then sooner or later he'll get ya,,,,whereas if he thinks your computer is off,,,then he moves on to the next ip scan.,,,,,there @sses.,,and i really dont know that much,,, just know of programs that do it for you,, and i learned bout them because my ex use to be on those chat lines all the time,, and i would need a new computer every 6 or so months.

Attempting connection to your computer. . .
Shields UP! is now attempting to contact the Hidden Internet Server within your PC. It is likely that no one has told you that your own personal computer may now be functioning as an Internet Server with neither your knowledge nor your permission. And that it may be serving up all or many of your personal files for reading, writing, modification and even deletion by anyone, anywhere, on the Internet!
Your Internet port 139 does not appear to exist!
One or more ports on this system are operating in FULL STEALTH MODE! Standard Internet behavior requires port connection attempts to be answered with a success or refusal response. Therefore, only an attempt to connect to a nonexistent computer results in no response of either kind. But YOUR computer has DELIBERATELY CHOSEN NOT TO RESPOND (that's very cool!) which represents advanced computer and port stealthing capabilities. A machine configured in this fashion is well hardened to Internet NetBIOS attack and intrusion.
Unable to connect with NetBIOS to your computer.
All attempts to get any information from your computer have FAILED. (This is very uncommon for a Windows networking-based PC.) Relative to vulnerabilities from Windows networking, this computer appears to be VERY SECURE since it is NOT exposing ANY of its internal NetBIOS networking protocol over the Internet.

heres their "big" test,,,,,,,,,i think EVERYONE should go there and test your computer,,,,go the the "services" at the top of the page,,then "shields up",,,is like testing your brakes,,,,ya should do it!!

Your system has achieved a perfect "TruStealth" rating. Not a single packet — solicited or otherwise — was received from your system as a result of our security probing tests. Your system ignored and refused to reply to repeated Pings (ICMP Echo Requests). From the standpoint of the passing probes of any hacker, this machine does not exist on the Internet. Some questionable personal security systems expose their users by attempting to "counter-probe the prober", thus revealing themselves. But your system wisely remained silent in every way. Very nice.

I feel it in my bones, the markets all seem to be nervous and without direction. - - Massive "dumps" of gold to prop up the US$ and commerce. - - All the wolves are howling for blood (see blogs on MrMortgauge, US-Debt, & many other sensible market analysists). - - - VERY FEW cars are on the road "driving around" - Shit it is only 9:30 and NO vehicles seen or to be heard? cruising or delivering???

Am I the last person here and everyone else has left and forgotten to turn out the lights? - - - The change in the past 12 months is astounding -

Poo - BE A HAPPY CHAPPY...

Hello...

Masi - do not see it thru' the glasses that they want you to wear - you have no idea how deep government and law courts control the media - thing is - you have to embrace the 'spin' - there was a time when you could believe the images on a news reel - if not the voice overs - those days are long gone...

Trick is - don't panic - the spin doctors hate a guy who keeps his head on his shoulders and his eyes forward - a person like that with freedom of expression is what their job descriptions are designed to attack - their first objective is to create doubt and fear - and when that is no longer marketable - they become extremely aggresive and start casting into the Senate or Congress (US vs. CDN) - or find some green hippie lobby group to suckle into the nest - because they are affordable and generally ignorant - and have shit loads of grant money...

TALLY THE HOES...

This shall pass from our river and rise again on a distant shore where we cannot fight - CEASAR...

SH.

Hi Sean, I am always happy, just occasionally I get bored (need my boat) or pissed off, as the market is not optimistic and keen to buy what I have to sell to get my boat (A home that has "Position cubed")....

I have 3 pr of glasses and none of them have rose tinting... I like to be aware of the "action" and the "quiet before the storm" always makes me edgy.... Busy sailing or working is a joy, - - and - - being "safe" in the middle of a storm looking at the action is also a delight to behold - - The drama of lightning bolts and the noise of thunder always finds me attracted to the window with the best view (with my camera)...

I also love photographing images of peace and serenity, not often do I succeed in capturing those moments, but I try and remain hopeful and optimistic that I can catch the next image.... (both literal & metaphoric.)

Do you want some "Tally Ho" cigarette paper too - I sent Jim some and he seems delighted, do you "roll your own"?
