raymarine seatalk or furuno navnet

Dos anyone have experience with both system or maybe a 3rd system witch is bether?

I would like to have a complete navigation system to use while fishing.
I don't nead a radar professional enough to lock onto and shot down a f-22 but sometimes the weather surprise you out on the ocean and it would be nice to know if there is someone/something else right in front of you.

Navigation is not my strong side so I would like to have it completed with a digital chart and since I already nead a screen for the radar and map why not just take the advantage of it and also find some fish.

I would like to get a night vision camera as-well since using lights in the dark winter while snowing just give you a white wall you can not see through.

Sugestions opinions?

I prefer and recommend Furuno over Raymarine. Our last project the owner chose Raymarine over our best efforts to persuade him otherwise, and it was quite a bit of trouble.

The Navnet system is great you can expand it at will as you need items.

why the question raymarine versus furuno ?
I will give little professional informations :

the most important requirements for devices are:

-is the comunication protokoll full NMEA 183 or NMEA 2000
(for ex Rymarine ST60 dont understand all NMEA Sentences, Log etc failed , Seatalk 2 is not 100 % compatible with NMEA 2000 )
it means , that all device functions are working with standard NMEA
-is the comunication interface standard NMEA 183(RS 422 / maybe RS232) or NMEA 2000 (CAN-Bus Based).

and of corse the quality is important.

with this standards you can connect whery quick all devices.

Tip :
dont use special connections like seatalk, simnet or other.

professionals(commercial) using only NMEA 183 Standard(RS422) and Multiplexing

regards
