How to wire in simple front and back lights to fish at night I want to wire in one switch that can turn on both my front and back lights simultaneously. I have a grounding bus bar and a glass fuse panel so i'm thinking if I get a small bus bar and use one of the free slots on my fuse panel I could run a wire from my fuse panel to the small bus bar and then would attach both the front and back positive leads while connecting both the grounds to my grounding bus bar? If there is an easier way to do this or if this isn't the correct way please let me know. Thanks

If you are talking about your running lights and stern light, they have different purposes. if you are not moving, tied up, anchored, only the stern light should be on. if you are moving, both should be on! I think they check that if you get inspected on the lake! If you are just adding some lights, they can be wired together just run a + to a good switch, proper rating, and then to the lights, ground the - to your bar, if you have a free fuse, just use that no need to add to and cause a problem, If you need a new bar, make sure it is fused to the main power source! Also check the wire to the ground bar and make sure it is big enough to handle the added load!

if it is nav and anchor light on one toggle switch that is easy you need a three pos. switch (one-off-on) with six poles on it or to say it eazier a six pole three position switch the middle poles will be battery positive (fused) the top right pole in nav and top left anchor the bottom poles you only need a jumper from one of them to the anchor light
