Actually underbunk is a great location on most boats. High enough to withstand bilge flooding...easy to get at for service insp[ection, and easy to balance with port starboard bunks.

What about placing AGM in center of boat in furniture in Inside kitchen? They would ventilate into kitchen, but kitchen has good ventilation anyway.
