Fish Finder

Good day to all
Fish finder is always fixed in vertical direction, but for the fisherment fishing in the shallow water is useless. is there any one or is it possible to use it in horizontal direction. I am trying to bay one but I am not sure about this point

You can point it in any direction. It will tell you how far you are from the fish or any other object in the direction it is pointing.
