When I was a kid...long time ago..I worked for Edgar Beyn in his marine electrical engineering shop.. Edgar was an eccentric, sailboat mad, German engineer. He wrote a book called the 12v doctor and its just full of valuable, well presented, logical, hands on , no nonsense information for small craft.. Well worth getting a copy of any of Edgars books.

I see Ed's work widely avaible for download...http://www.dawncraftowners.com/12volthandbook.pdf

Or for sale

Nice links. I have quite a few, but my bookmarks aren't very organized

This one: http://www.bcae1.com/ is actually concerning car audio but is pretty much a lot of interesting information about many things electric and signals. Some good interactive models.
