A Hobie trifoiler won the boats section at Weymouth speedweek with an impressive average speed over a 500m course of 27.93 knots.

A catamaran based foiler was 2nd with 18.97knots, and a more conventional trimaran was 3rd with 18.90knots.

This seems to be an impressive performance considering the fastest windsrurfer was only 1.1knots ahead at 29.07knots.

The full results have not been published yet, but the list of entries indicate that a 10m cat and a foiling moth were also present.
